The Big Three!

I drew this a few years ago for a convention in Knoxville and it was colored rather quickly by someone on their side. Well I've always wanted to re-color and found the time!

Old School is awesome

I love the Sentry and really like the new Superman costume. I wanted to do something in a retro style incorporating two of my favorite artists, John Buscema and Joe Sinnott. I love this type of brush rendering!

Going through some old files and came across my ten page Super Powers story for FCBD I believe four years ago! Man time flies! I was playing with a different style when I did this gig...still like parts of it too! ;)

Avengers Assemble!

I loved, loved the movie!!! And I also happen to have an Avengers #1 blank cover so I took to it with pencil in hand and drew some of my favorite characters! The main three with Spider-woman and the Red Hulk!

New X-O

I'm jacked for the New X-O book and love the new design. So here is my take on the man in the can! I'd love to do some work on him...hint hint... ;)

He-Man!

It's like retro week here in the studio! With DC announcing their new He-man mini-series it got me pumped to do my take on him. I did a cover for the Masters of the Universe book put out by the great Val Staples but that was almost a decade ago and it was time for a new one!

Thunder Cats HO!!!

I loved this cartoon as a kid! I'm not a big fan of the new show mainly because I just love the original designs from what I grew up with. So with some of the down time I have I thought I'd work up a shot of my favorite...Lion-O!!!

X-MEN!

Had some time and wanted to work up a shot of the X-men. I had a blast drawing X-men Forever but that was a different version of the team then this one. I started this a few months back and finally had time to finish it last week.

Superman vs. Toyman

 I've been working on some children's books for HarperCollins using DC characters! This is the cover to my first book which is still in progress due out for a 2012 release! I love working on this stuff and the different format from standard comic books. It also gives me a chance to work in a simpler style which is also very challenging and fun as well!

The Phantom!

I'm a huge fan of the Phantom! The closet I have gotten to drawing him professionally is a cover for Moonstone's Phantom back in 2008. I liked what I did then but if I had the chance to do it over this is more of what he would look like. Sy Barry rules as the best Phantom artist ever! Then Don Newton! ;)

The New Superman and Wonder Woman!

I might be in the minority but I like the new designs! So in my sketchbook I did up this piece in a different more open style. I was inspired by a French artist's work.

Green Lantern Star Saphire!

I'm a huge Green Lantern fan, if you know me you know that! ;) So in some down time I had I thought I'd work up a pin-up of the main man in his new costume! Also I wanted to experiment with some more linear rendering as well. Which I had fun doing and might just do more of!

Hawk and Dove

With the release of the new Hawk and Dove I thought I'd post up this piece I did back in the spring of this year. I love those characters! So if an issue needs to be drawn to give Rob a break I'm down! ;)

Batman 712 Pencils

Here are the scans of my pencils to the portion of Batman 712 I did. I thought the inks and colors came out really nice on the issue! So now run out and grab it! ;)

JSA Pencils

Here are the pencils I did for the JSA 80 Pg Giant that just came out. The only revision I had to make was to not make Jessie's shirt so tight by adding a line under her breasts and erasing out the center line of them. Keith Champagne inked this job and hit a home run on it!
